Project Title: Generalized heat exchanger network simulation model

-         This is an application of pinch technology.

-         Mathematical model is prepared to simulate the exchanger network. Simulation program is made to obtain pressure and temperature distribution in the network using fluid input conditions and exchanger geometries in the network.

-         Program is based on Finite Element Analysis of heat exchanger network considering individual heat exchanger as a node.

-         Detailed design of various types of heat exchangers (shell-and-tube, fin type cross flow exchangers, double-pipe exchangers, and plate exchangers) is introduced in the program.
